13 Days of Halloween
Tonight I went and saw Zombieland. Went in expecting to enjoy it - but had no idea it would be the best movie that I’ve seen all year! I loved it. It was non-stop fun. It’s gorey, but not scary, touching but not cloying, and something else but not being something else!
Also, Emma Stone?
Hideous. Just hideous…
13 Days of Halloween
We’re in the Halloween home stretch now, so I’ll be posting spooky content every day between now and Halloween. And to start off - a retrospective of the Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror episodes. Not coincidentally, tonight on Fox you can watch this year’s Treehouse of Horror. Set your DVRs!

‘Trick ‘r Treat’ Trailer HD (via hollywoodstreams)
Trick ‘r Treat, the movie I’ve literally waited two years for, comes out on DVD in two weeks!!! Here’s the new trailer!
Finally!! I saw this trailer for the first time two years ago. At that time the movie was rumored to be scheduled for an October 2007 release. Didn’t happen. Now, though, according to the internets and the end of the trailer itself, it appears that this fantastic looking movie will be released on DVD and Blueray this October.
I’m sure more than a few of you would watch the trailer and wonder what the big deal is. Most of you know how much I love Halloween but you may not know that I don’t really care for most horror movies. This, however, isn’t just a horror movie. It’s a movie ABOUT Halloween. And it doesn’t look like a gore-fest. It looks deliberately creepy and it looks like the people who made it love all the spooky, gaudy things about Halloween that I do. I. Can’t. Wait!
