In which Patch does something he rarely does
I’ve been asked to post a public apology on my blog. At first, when the offended party asked, I thought, “Fat chance! Tom Cruise didn’t get one. The Fayette Urban County Government didn’t get one. P.Dirty didn’t get one. What makes you think you’re so special?” Taking a little time, though, and reflecting on the situation, I’ve decided that it’s time to begin a new chapter in my blog. A chapter of peace and harmony. A chapter of love and acceptance. At least until I get bored with it.
So here’s that public apology.
It was suggested last week that when my friend Sara asked everyone around her to feel how sweaty her legs were, it might be construed by some as being creepy. In hindsight the act wasn’t creepy at all. It was simply a young lady trying to share a unique experience with the people around her. An experience that just so happened to involve sweat and uncomfortable physical contact.
Ugh, you know what… when I say it like that it really is creepy. Sorry, Sara. I can’t do it.
