Covered
The Covered blog is a website that asks comic book artist to recreate past comic book covers. It’s a neat idea that produces a lot of cool images.
It inspired me to look back at some comic book covers from my youth that really made an impression on me - and recreate one of them.
Obviously, I’m nowhere nearly as talented as any of the artist featured on the Covered blog, but here’s the original cover to DC Comics Presents 32 and my recreation:
As a kid, the idea of Superman and Wonder Woman making out totally blew my mind and kind of embarrassed me. I can remember going out of my way to make sure my mom never saw the cover to this particular issue.
