Oh yeah, Halloween
I’m very disappointed in myself. First I totally let the 13 Days of Halloween posts die on the vine, then it’s taken me almost a week to report on this year’s Halloween party. I can’t believe I actually won all those blogging awards back in the 70’s. What happened to me?
This year’s party was special because it marked my tenth year in the amateur Halloween party business. And brother, business was good (that was really stupid, sorry).
My friend Greg let me shang-hai an empty warehouse downtown. It was a great location: spooky, stark, and Isolated from impressionable, litigious families. There were snacks, drinks, a dance floor, a graveyard, flying ghosts, spooky videos projected on walls, and the worst haunted house ever. Time to start working on year 11 (in about 10 more months that is…).
