North Carolina
Just got back from a four day trip to North Carolina. Got to spend time with a college buddy named Matt Christus. Got to see Dave Matthews in concert. Had beer. Played video-games. Laughed a lot. Commiserated a little.

On the Dave Matthews concert: To be honest, I’m pretty burned out on Dave Matthews. How long have I been listening to him? Ten years? Since college at least. I remember Jimmy Hatter playing one of his song for me for the first time while driving in Louisville. He’d heard him while in Seattle. So the next week I went to a record store looking for his stuff.

Two days ago I turned 30. I’m not the kind to get hung up on age- I don’t feel any older, and Im in good physical shape. But this birthday was a rough one. No doubt due to the fact that less than a week prior, Susi moved to LA - adding physical seperation to the legal one.
